I have been receiving messages in German for years. Not many at first. A trickle. Someone in Munich who found Sit on My Face through a forum link. Every one of these six books was rewritten from the ground up. Not converted. Not adapted. Rebuilt. The characters speak the way German speakers actually speak. Cultural references were adjusted where they needed to be. Slang was replaced with equivalents that carry the same weight. The voice stayed mine. The language became theirs.
